Would a design like this work in KSP? I mean should i just give up now on this kind of aircraft or can KSP simulate aerodynamics correctly?

Only one way to find out honestly. I am not sure how accurate the aerodynamics are in KSP to be honest, but considering Scott Manley flew a box during Kerbalkon I do not believe them to be 100% true to the real world.
