You read the manual or the many other post of the same topic? Also would help to post what isnt working

Yes i did read the manual, but I did not read the other posts. Would you mind linking me/giving me a page number for a help post?

I have tried this method, and it did not work no matter how many times i tried it. But, this is not the only thing wrong with my game. There is also the fact that NONE of the weapons work or respond to any of the commands input thought the right click menu. The readme file is absolutely NO help in this.

Sorry, I seem to have an issue with the .bat file. I did what the forum page told me to do, and here is what happened:

1. Open .bat

2. Select 'Apply to all KSP parts'

3. See a part (NASA patch) come up with options (Yes/No/All)

4. Type 'All'

5. The .bat acts as if I said 'Yes' and does only one file.

6. I move on, do the same thing to about 20 files.

And it still does not work. Would love some help.

I think the .bat is broken, copy the folders from the -Name-CFGEdits folders instead. That seems to work.

or you could try my MM patch, but if the weapons are not working the cfg's wont fix them, thats just to make the stock parts able to take damage, also dice went and fixed the tracks only to discover they are on curse fixed already, all i had to do to get them working was compile against the .23.5 files

they are buggy as hell, ill se what i can do

Thanks for the advice dice (and surprisingly quick response). I'll see if I can get it fixed. Despite not being able to turn the turrets, I have already had much fun building and testing vehicles. I can see how this could turn ksp into the first true space combat flight simulator.

I look forward to future weapons. The 88 flak sounds like fun.

I've noticed that a camera mod I've been using works very effectively with the crosshairs in the 30mm (I think its that one that has them, right?). Its very accurate that way.

PS, I have noticed a few minor bugs (I'm surprised there aren't more, being a first release and all. You really have done a good job with this mod). Not huge ones, just minor quirks. I was wondering, if it would help to improve the mod in future releases, if I mentioned them in detail in this forum?

And yes, laptop designers really need to stop oversimplifying hardware.

I'm having a problem. Whenever I launch a craft every armor part is set to have 0 temperature and 0 structure as if it was damage even though I just launched it. Can anybody help me? I am using skillful with stock and Sam Hall's Mk2 Cockpit interior as well as module manager.

Just wondering,

Would it be possible for you to make An Air to Air missile in the style of the Russian Vympel missiles?

Sorry to chuck a request at you, seeing as you're working hard enough on getting other stuff out, but i'd quite like to see some Russian style missiles in there (Not as if i have any sway in what you make, of course, and anyway, you've probably got enough to work on for the second release :P)

Well guys I've been trying to upload an update to Curse since last night. Keeps timing out on me for some unknown reason, I've sent them a request for assistance but haven't heard back yet.

It's frustrating enough dealing with everything else, only to hit a brick wall at distribution. I'll let you know when it's up.

I tend to pick things out of my memory hat with things like this. I haven't chosen the missile for the mid-range entry yet. I was leaning towards the RIM-116 - I'll take a peek at some Russian equivalents for sure.

Yes but from the start if the time of release wasn't perfect the missile would track the firing plane... that can't happen anymore. From an aircraft however you don't have a clue as to what a valid target might be... I may change that! :)

Wait, so an update is going to be released but curse isn't working? Does this mean the ICE Updates was supposed to be releases? Also, can anyone help me with the issue where the armor is at 0 structure when a a craft with it is launched? Also if you still have problems with curse I would recommend using dropbox until it is fixed.

Ah, thanks for at least looking into some russian stuff!

I only really want it because i'm trying to make a bunch of Russian aircraft, and they look pretty weird carrying american missiles XD

This mod is cool and all, but it makes me really furious. I can't fire a single little gun without setting a team, target and a whole crapload of other options first. I still haven't figured out how to fire your malfuctioning machineguns, despite the fact that I have been trying for almost all day by now. Uninstalling this scum from my folders.

Truely just come out and let your 455hat fly.

Because you didn't install it right or didn't bother to read the instructions you think its a problem. I have had very few problems with this mod that weren't user created.

BTW Dice, the issue with the missiles moving slower than dirt was fixed when I reinstalled everything including KSP and RSS6.2 Now they work fine in RSS6.2 with the real sized Earth. Perhaps it is a dynamic pressure thing with FAR and the stock sized Kerbing and your missiles.

I agree with Hobo here. Please mind that it's better to ask for help to get it running, so that you can enjoy the mod. That way both parties win. Indirectly insulting a mod maker because you can't get his mod to work won't get you anywhere. And while we're on the subject of the mod maker: you have to realize that these people put a lot of time and effort into their work, just so they themselves but mostly others can enjoy it. That also deserves respect.

Ah. So now they can sorta be used as air to air missiles. At least better than the air to surface missiles. Also what was that about is not knowing what a valid target is? I'm confused. (Sorry it's late and I've been up for 36 hours. :confused:)

Meaning... If you are flying a plane, there is no indication at all from that plane where the missile would track... is there something in the area that is hot enough to attract the missile? I'd like to add a FLIR/detector so hot items would have a red dot over them for example.

On a side note I have a test download up at my site http://smaugsfire.wix.com/carrier-parts Since Curse is broken for me right now. Once I can upload to Curse I'll post it here.
