Mods not loading

I've got a few mods loaded - Flight Engineer, MechJeb, Lazor, Kethane. All .23, all working OK.

I loaded KW Rocketry and KAS and they're not showing up. I double-checked the copy and the directories are in there. No additional installation was required other than copying the files into the right directory.

Any easy way to check on what's going wrong?

Are you working in career mode? If that's the case, then you might need to go into the R&D center and unlock the parts. Also, do the parts show up when you start a new sandbox game?

Nope, sandbox mode. MechJeb and Kethane are there, KAS and KW are not.

Starting a scratch install today working up from KW.

So doing a scratch install, I was able to load these one at a time but with some weird interactions.

KW was first, loaded fine.

Loading KAS worked, but after loading KAS some icons in the VAB for KW didn't display correctly.

Loading Lazor worked fine; KW icons are back. (!?)

Loading MechJeb, no issues.

Loading Kethane, no issues.

While I recognize that Squad isn't ready to "certify" mods, I would offer that they need to step up and provide some debugging tools for mod interaction. The only change here was load order and doing them back-to-back...and there was still weirdness.

Very odd. I've been using KW, KAS, Mechjeb and Kethane together with no issues. Not something daft like a broken file download is it?

No; I used the same downloads throughout. Hard to imagine it was something unique, as I don't manually edit anything or do anything weird...and it's not like the installs are complex
