How do you get the dudes out of the MPL?

I sent out a multi-planet cruiser to gather science, and had a mobile processing lab, but when I put bill and bob in them, they sort of -disappeared- from the crew manifest, and Jeb was the only one left that I could IVA or EVA in the bottom right of the staging screen. Upon returning, I couldn't work out how to transfer the guys back out of the lab. What's the deal?

You need to left-click on the hatch. It's sort of backwards from the way other pods and stuff work, but there it is.

There's a hatch on each side of the module and if you point your mouse at it, you may see a tooltip "Crew Hatch" pop up. If you click on it when the tooltip is displayed, you get a window with crew inside.

Or you can use a hack to get the module an IVA.

The 'click on hatch' method for EVA'ing your Kerbals works on any pod/capsule too. It's useful for when you cant remember which Kermen are in which modules.
