Scientific instruments run out of electric charge.

Today I built a atmospheric research vehicle for Duna with a Stayputnik probe and after i launched it into a parking orbit and burnt to Duna, my Science Jr. and Mystery Goo weren't usable anymore, although i had plenty of batteries and solar panels. Is this a bug? Can this be fixed? Even the thermometer and barometer run out of electricity. That is a major problem.

Could you give us a picture of the craft? Also, the Science Jr. and Mystery Goo are single use unless you clean it with a Science Lab.

Early in the tech tree, you have batteries but no solar panels to regenerate them. This requires you to budget your power use.
