Massive M9 Solar flare likely to cause increased geomagnetic activity tomorrow

The largest in 7 years. Not world-crippling, but more than enough to make some pretty colors. Considering I missed the auroral display that extended all the way down to Arkansas, and this one is even stronger, I\'m hoping that I\'ll see a good show from further up north than that, in Pennsylvania.

I\'ve seen the aurora twice; once in Illinois and once in Wisconsin. Nowadays I\'m living in Wisconsin, right on the shore of Lake Michigan, so potentially have a great vantage point for this show... but the weather forecast is lots of clouds. >:(

The first time I saw the lights, I was startled by how immensely tall the whole thing looked.
