Procedural Fairings how?

I get how to place the base. and how to connect the faring parts. (LOOKS FANTASTIC WITH FAIRINGS!!!)

I pretty much recreated Space x dragon lifter to put things into geosync orbit. Now I want the nice covers for the sat.

I get to where I am going but I see no way of jettisoning the fairings once I am ready to do so.

the base nor the fairings themselves have any actions in the action group settings no do they show up in the staging.

Sounds like a bug, try reinstalling. You might also be using the wrong fairings. The ones in Aerodynamics (They are orange in the menu) have built in decouplers. The bases do not have decouplers so you will need either a docking port (recommended) or a decoupler between the base and the satellite (Or you could edit the part config)

You have used the fairings, right, the ones in the Aerodynamics tab? And not the fuselage shrouds in the structural tab?

Was using the wrong fairings... the "yellow" ones are indeed the jettisoning ones.
