Help Posting Pictures

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have very little experience posting on the forums and would like to add some photos. I notice that I am supposed to use the IMG tags, but am a bit confused as to how to go about taking my photos from say, imgur, and bringing them into the forums. I do not wish to make improper posts, so any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. First of all you have to upload the photos to any site like imgur, flickr.

Then, use the corresponding tags (I will use '(' ')' as example instead of [])

(IMG)link of the picture(IMG)

or for imgur albums

(IMGUR)album code(IMGUR)

Protip, when you write a post you can preview it before posting to check your pictures are shown correctly

BTW, from imgur when you click a picture you a popup which shows many ways to link the image, just copy the one called BBCode (message boards & forums)

I see that someone did post how to put up an album. But how do you find the identifier?

Look at the album's URL in your browser. There will be a five letter identifier at the end of the address. Copy that and put it in brackets that say IMGUR.

For example, here's the address of an album. http://imgur.com/a/nW4eO#0

To post the album, you would type [imgUR]nW4eO[//IMGUR] (with only one '/' )
