SC-9001 Science Jr - QUESTIONS

Ok so this module is designed to DO science but not STORE it? I flew it around and dig all sorts of experiments and saved them and then brought it back and recovered it and got nothing.

I guess I HAVE to transmit as I go or unlock that processing lab right?

If you do a measurement with it, it should keep that single measurement as long as you don't transmit it, discard it, or take measurements with an EVA Kerbal. And it should give you appropriate science value on recovery.

It works pretty much the same way the Goo container does.

You probably pressed "reset experiment" button instead of keeping or transmitting it. Yes, it's kinda stupid that this button is on the top.

Apparently this hasn't been marked as answered, so I'll try and answer your question.

Alchemist is almost certainly right, you need to press the green button when you run an experiment, not the blue or grey one.

Also, if you want, you can take a Kerbal on EVA to go take the data from the module.

This renders the module inoperable, but it still gives you the ability to recover the data, and you don't even have to keep the science part.

I would suggest getting the Science Revisited mod, it makes more sense in terms of progression.
