I enhanced my KSP experience.

I belive that Surround only requires one card too...

But its better if you get two and SLI + Surround with it.

I guess i will just stick to play at one monitor and use the second one for other stuff while playing.

And about the TV thing.

Most new TV's have not that smaller pixel densities, so you would be playing with a screen the same relative size of your monitor but with much better image quality.

The only issue is the higher latency of TV's if compared to computer monitors, but that's more of a problem at FPS or racing games than KSP.

So yeah, if you have a big TV at your house i recommend trying KSP on it, definitely.

Older cards like my 580's do require 2 cards. I think the 600 series can run Surround on one card, I know the 700 series can, but as you said, it's much better to have multi-cards.

I've also piped KSP to my living room TV through HDMI (sadly, through my GTS 250 PhysX card. Not a problem, just that it wasn't on my native cards) and enjoyed playing from my comfy recliner with the Saitek X52 on our old 46" TV. Still looks great.

You know... Once that door is opened it never closes...

"let's plug the TV to the computer! that sounds like fun!" -- and it is! -- but it's also addictive...

give it some time - and unchecked, you eventually might end up like me:

see more of the madness here: http://gp-m5.tumblr.com/

...and that's not even the latest developments, I'm afraid - it doesn't account for the newest additions since my room is so messy, I cannot allow myself having it photographed at such less-than-proud conditions as it currently is found -- but a new TrackIR 5 unit and a Wacom Intuos tablet are now featured amidst the mayhem

...and I'm very likely not done - possibly never will be - there's always a new awesome thing to add - that's how it slowly develops... :D

cheers!

Wow Moach, i'm jealous.

At first it seemed that those pedals were for your hands, right under your keyboard, lol.

One day I will make a gamming setup like that

For now I'll just stick with monitor+pc+console+router on the table (almost burning out the plug for excessive current consumption)

Which headset you use?
