So . . . the guy afraid to enter interplanetary space is now . . . I don't even . . .

Sometimes youve just got to tell your fears to **** off.

Wait, they forgot to board their rocket?

I forgot to bring them to the main ship in my Jool mission, I swear I forget things at the worst possible time

LOL!! Until you're sitting on the launchpad and you say, "Well... Definitely tomorrow. Yeah tomorrow."

Otherwise, good luck. lol

To answer your question from a technical perspective, yes, you can make the rendezvous. Just be prepared to spend a LOT of dV to do it.

Doing some rough math (And I do mean rough) you would need at least enough dV to accelerate the following ship to at least 1.5x the original ships speed (To catch up in a reasonable amount of time) following that you will need at least .5x again to slow down once you get there, so assuming you are playing stock that's at least 10km/s base, so you are looking at something that is carrying enough dV to get to Jool and back twice, without a launch window. (Or something that can make Moho and back twice)

Also, the game will not show you closest-approach markers when your target or your spacecraft is on a hyperbolic trajectory, which adds an extra layer of annoyance to doing this sort of thing stock. Since the original poster is using Mechjeb, that can be somewhat alleviated by the Rendezvous Information window.
