Porco Rosso Plane

Ive been trying to make a plane with the engine mounted atop the airplane like in Porco Rosso. However when I do this the plane will not even roll forward even at full thrust! I have built both jet powered and spitfire mod versions with props. nothing works it just sits there burning fuel and never moves. (no brakes of course!)

has anyone had any luck?

I rushed into opening my game just to try a top-engine design using the FPP. Apparently, everything went better than I've expected. Not to mention that the biplane design made it much easier to handle (and more stabilized).

Version 1: External seat. 1 engine.

Version 2: Cockpit installed. 2 engines (one puller, one pusher).

All I did was to trick the game into thinking that the engine was at the "center" of the aircraft by using a probe core as the "main" (both versions were unmanned during the flight), and building the rest of the aircraft below it, including the pilot setup.

(inb4 a random person screaming I'm doing things wrong again)

good job ! ok yeah it seemed to be a glitch the whole not moving thing. Now, I just need to keep it from exploding down
