SSI Midget Beta 1 (Type-1 Shuttlecraft)

After making a perfect landing at KSP (for once) I flew into a self cert for my craft. Here are the pictures that I snapped of the flight. Took another flight to test out the profile and it worked once more, this craft is Capable of reaching Mun without refueling, BUT CAN NOT make the return trip as it will run out of fuel before getting close to Kerban. Did not attempt landing on mun due to lack of VTOL capabilities and skill at landing space plane based craft.

Flight profile:

Full throttle with basic and turbo jet engines pull up into a 45 degrees climb till 7km.

Lower climb to 25 degrees to increase ground speed, keeping vertical speed around 10m/s.

Around 20km kill basic engine and keep maintaining a vertical speed around 10m/s.

Lower throttle slowly till half way to prevent flameouts and at 1/2 throttle kick on rocket engines.

Around 1/4 throttle, or dropping below 10m/s vertical speed turn off air breathers and pull up into a 45 degree climb at full power.

Throttle off around 54km till circularizing burn at apolapsis, make sure speed is above 2300m/s.

This is the flight plan that I used on the return trip up and had plenty to make it back to the refueling station at 120km. I did have to move fuel from the larger tank into the smaller two mid-climb. But any fuel balance mod can do that for you, or can add in fuel lines to do for you, but be careful as the fuel in the rear tanks only will unbalance the craft.
