heh I might just take an ion engine approach to this since I have not seen anyone use it yet but my design might be a bit odd for a glider ill post on how far my plane went before it somehow dies

I don't really see the point, given that they're massively inefficient in atmosphere AND are heavier than say an RCS thruster or small rocket engine!

that's interesting challenge using RCS as thrust. hmm i have a dual ion engine design and that flew for a long time until it ran out of xeon gas that i just built but the problem is i now have to redo the fight because i for got what key takes screenshots

Mine used RCS. One RCS thruster has double the thrust of an Ion engine, granted they're nowhere near as efficient on fuel though.
