You might be interested in this:

The projectiles leave at ~400m/s, and they phase through armor of both kinds (plate and wing), but they collide with the fuel tanks before continuing on their merry way. Very easy to reload the five-shot clips. You can probably recreate yourself very easily (It's LV-T30s, BTW), but if not ask me for a subassembly-ready file.

Rune. Oh, and since it's side-mounted, it doubles as armor itself. Just watch the exhaust at the other end.
