Have you ever seen a ship powered by Krackens? (Not inifiglide)

No, its not powered by infiniglide. The engine is clipped into a standard fuselage for demonstration purposes here, but the K-Drive works fine without clipping. It's powered by the force that causes ships to explode. Discovered by ComradeJenkins and miniaturized by Shuttlecraft Systems Inc. Krackens-in-a-bottle. If you must know, this ship is powered by the simple force of landing legs pressing against parts. Without exploding.

I wonder if this will lead to calls for the devs to keep the Kracken bug in the released game? Heh.

For those that never visit Spacecraft Exchange... well, maybe you should today. :D

Can you elaborate a bit more on this? Is it part clipping? Infiniglide?

I suspect it to be some kind of phantom forces caused by clipping. Infiniglide comes from how control surfaces work. I don't see any of them on that ship.

In the topic (currently can't find it) where this images was originally posted you see an explosive failure of this ship. Literally dozens of parts are clipped together in this tiny ship.

Nope. Not powered by clipping. At least not initially. SSI has only miniaturized the technology (aka clipped it to reduce its footprint) but the principle works without clipping. See Tyrene Technologies in rocket builders forum for more info.

Bill was on his way home from flying by both Eve and Gilly. About 1 week before hitting Kerbin's SOI, suddenly the Kraken wrapped its tentacles around Bill's ship and dragged it into intergalactic space. This pic was taken about 5 seconds after the Kraken attack started, and both speed and distance from Kerbol were increasing at the time. At the time this pic was snapped, Bill was 715 LIGHT YEARS from Kerbol and moving at over 882 BILLION times c.
