beginer help

[newbie spacer]

hello everybody, I am new to the kerbal world and having a blast, and unfortunately kerbal disfunctional. a few quick questions.

1 How do I access planes in the hangar. I am still only on year one day 1. do those items have to be unlocked ?

2. what is the best approach to upgrade items via collecting scientific data.

any help would be welcome. thanks

If you are in career mode then you need science to unlock more parts, if you are in sandbox mode you get all the parts from the start.

If you need to know how to get more science, see vids on youtube ... there are a few "tricks" to easily get science, at least to get you started.

From one beginner to another .... I would go to youtube and watch some of Scott Manley's videos. He is my personal favorite ... besides he's Scottish. All true Scottsman are engineers ... all true engineers are Scottish! (IMHO)

I don't think you should start with career mode... At least not on it's current state.

You should mess around in sandbox first, there's why it's called that.

And if you got a google account, subscribe to Scott Manley.
