here at the Khazari Rig Platform we are always short on information, (no phone or TV coverage on an oil rig .) so we decided on making a Cheap, Fuel efficent, Verticial launching Spy plane to monitor the globe.

and thus, The Morepork was born!

so far there is 1 Morepork in orbit and 4 more in production.

The Morepork was named after the Native New Zealand Owl. On a side note (and I\'ll paraphrase here):

A long time ago there was a giant flood and a few wise men built an ark and put 2 of every animal on the Disc on board. After a few weeks the weight of all the animal\'s combined manure was beginning to weigh the ship down. So they tipped it all off the side and called it Anhk-Morepork.
