So, it's taken forever- but now, thanks to the new overhaul of the engine...

Olympus is online! Six flights, six modules!

http://imgur.com/a/l0gPU#0 Here's a more detailed look at my baby. I know it's not the most detailed station of all time- but considering before with KSP I couldn't get more than two, three docked modules...

Now all I need to do is create a soyuz analogue...

Nice, you've got yourself a good Mir analogue there. I can't wait to finish my current game in .22, those science modules look so useful.

Thanks :D What other modules do you think I should add? I'm considering running up some fuel tanks, but... eh? XD

They can be useful if you're doing a lot of orbital construction. For example, if you're making an interplanetary craft in orbit, each component needs to be independently pilotable, which adds weight and complexity. But if you've got a tug, you don't need as many rcs's, engines, probe cores etc.

See I usually just build that into the Ascent module. I have a sort of reusable, de-orbit-able (is that a word?) subassembly for three different sizes. XD
