D-20 Defender, the dream, the reality.

First off I would like to say that the original D-20 prototypes were not successful. They were unreliable, heavy, lacked sufficient power to even get it off the runway. The thing had SRB Boosters and 15 jet engines.

It was a pain to fly. Until my guardian angel, Hellbrand, intervened.

He made a copy titled YD-20A, then improved and sent it to me. It was a miracle. I was stunned to see it could actually get off the runway, but the REALLY amazing thing was that it could do this:

Now my Bomber fleet resides at KSP City and at Insular Airfield, waiting for the call, to fulfill the mission. They are extremely adaptable for different roles; i.e Reconnaissance, Science, Bombing, and they can be fitted with fuselage extensions and under-wing stuff. 10 Engines to get this thing rolling, compared to 15 and 2 Rockets to get my one rolling.
