Sirine
What should I do if I found a website providing KSP0.23 full working version downloadable; playable link? Edited February 14, 2014 by Sirine
robopilot99
Stay away from it. Might have a virus
SkyRender
You should probably also inform a moderator about the details so they can have a few words with the people responsible for putting it up for download.
iBeej
I'll tell you exactly what you should do. Buy it. 'Nuff said.
Mr.Rocket
You should P.M. one of the Devs, have them take a look at it. Don't download it, because it could be a virus.
Sirine
@robopilot99 not virus. Is a workable version.@SkyRender The download link provider moderator or KSP forum moderator? If the later, who, and where, and how.@iBeej Learn to read. Please.@Mr.Rocket Who, and how. No virus, no spam, no nothing, just a plan exact original 0.23 file. Ravenchant
Do you mean, like, from a certain bay? Then it's a breach of copyright, AFAIK. The right thing to do would probably be what SkyRender said.Edit: even if it's not virus-infested...you already own a copy, so why should you download? iBeej
What should I do if I found a website providing KSP0.23 full working version downloadable; playable link?Learn to write please. Should we just assume you already own it? If you don't own it. Buy it. If you already own it, then don't download it. And if you didn't plan on downloading it, then report it. Not sure why you even asked the "question" in the first place.
Sirine
@Ravenchant Yes, I've already own a copy. I don't download, but I know it works from others comment.@Whackjob The link still active.@iBeej I'm sorry. We don't share a common understanding in this topic. Please restrain yourself for replying my post. Thanks.I won't post it here. But hey, who should I actually PM to? Which moderator? Who is the 'Right' person for this? Mr.Rocket
@Mr.Rocket Who, and how. No virus, no spam, no nothing, just a plan exact original 0.23 file.I'm pretty sure Rowsdower is a Dev, and he is on the forums alot. Try to contact him. Go to his profile and send a P.M. He's the community manager too, so he would probably know what to do. Maybe one of the mods or devs will see this thread too. Here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/members/94305-Rowsdower
TechnicalK3rbal
Any forum moderator, or better yet, someone who works for squad.
Captain Sierra
Get it reported ASAP. Any mod with a blue name is senior moderation staff. They're the minimum you should take it to. Ultimately, what I think has to happen, is that Squad has to file a DMCA takedown request and then it's gone. All you need to do is get it to Squad or forum staff, who will get it to Squad. Mr.Rocket
Or to make it quicker, if you scroll down on the main forum page, it shows everyone online. The moderators online will have names in green. Click on their names.
TechnicalK3rbal
My suggestion to find mods: look at the most recent post on a locked thread.
