Changing scale of parts?

Hello there ,

After downloading the ECLSS mod, I realized that the 1,25 meter O2/CO2 tanks that come with the mod would:

• not fit my 2,5 meter orbital station very well, and...
  
• not provide said station with air for very long before suffocating its poor Kerbal inhabitants, even with several O2 regenerators attached.
  

Adding the New Horizons rebalance mod solved the second problem, but the tanks still look out of place when attached.

So here's my question: Is there a way to up-/downscale parts via part.cfg editing? If yes, how?

PS: Can anyone tell me how to add a resource to, say, science labs?

I'm pretty sure that original ECLSS tanks are 2.5m wide, and it's the rebalance mod which changes their scale into 1.25. Look into modulemanager config file for NH, you should see @rescaleFactor and @mass there.

J.Random, thank you very much, 'twas indeed! Copied the parts, changed their names, added them to the mod's main config with another rescaling number, and it's go for launch with proper-sized tanks. Much thanks, mate!
