Switch between Ion and Rockets

I would like to be able to switch between ion engines and regular rockets. In other words, turn off the liquid fuel rocket and turn on the ion engine in order to preserve fuel. That way I can save the liquid rocket fuel for take offs and landings by using the ion engines for deep space course corrections without adding stages.

You can activate/deactivate engines using action groups.

Edit: oh and you can of course also activate/deactivate them manually one by one through right-click menu.
