Chrome says "Could not load Shockwave Flash"

When I try to go to Youtube to watch something, That's what it says. I've tried a fresh reinstall of Flash player and Shockwave, and the Google troubleshooting didn't help either. I've also made sure I enabled Flash and shockwave in the plugins setting, and it still won't work.

Any Suggestions?

Without knowing your OS, I'd recommend the free open source browser "Firefox". Try it and see if it will do the job for you. I sometimes use it; most of the time I use Safari.

i actually tried using internet explorer which was already installed on my computer when I got it. It's an atrocious browser, but it worked. thanks for the suggestion!
