Yup, I made an Aircraft Carrier. Well, more of a portable landing strip.

It's oddly flexible, the whole thing is its suspension :D

First attempt- landed but well overshot the runway. My solution (rather cleverly!) was to add more brakes to my Kingfisher naval plane.

Oops...

However, my third attempt... with three of the ships back to back was just about long enough.

Final test... does it float?

'Procedural wings'? Which ones are those? Or are they not stock or in the B9 pack?

To be honest rigidity is not an issue- it flexes only when driving and I think it is actually quite beneficial compared to if it was rigid and acted like a seesaw over the bumps. It is fine when stationary and doesn't move a muscle when I land on it. Mine currently have 517 parts :( 1500 parts when I have all three is quite the performance hit.

I think I'll just add a parachute to my Kingfisher Plane and see if I can land on two stuck together not three.

I'd quite like to have a play and reverse engineer your VTOL Jeb3 if you've got a nice small simple one!!
