Installing mods - line up important?

hello, fellow Kerbonauts,

please can anybody tell me, if it makes any difference, if i install one mod before the other? I use mod-admin (a great help btw) and i noticed that sometimes after swapping mods in and out to test things, for example toolbar would not function properly. If this is important, which mods install first, which last? I use Interstellar, KAS, Kethane, Toolbar, MJ, KW and some more

I'm assuming it comes down to dropping folders into the gamedata folder, as with manual installations. Install order will only matter if a mod overwrites shared files using an older or different version of the shared plugin, breaking the other mod in the process. see if you have an older version of one of the mods and update?

I don't know the specifics of any mod managers around here, but I'd recommend installing the Toolbar Plugin last so as to overwrite any potentially older versions bundled with other plugins.

It shouldn't matter for most mods. By 'swapping' 'out' what do you mean? If a save game references a part that you've removed, it might cause issues.

thank you for your remarks. I tried some mods and installed an de-installed them. Now i think i found, what i want. I will try to install blizzies toolbar last!

So correct is "blizzys" toolbar mod ? I thought y changes to ie before the s - sorry for my poor english... Or is blizzy's the corrcect writing? No offense intended!

In your case, you're using the Genitive, so "blizzy's Toolbar" would be correct.

Also, I didn't take any offense, I just wanted my name spelled right
