Hidden/Covered/Foldable lights

I miss... and would very much like to see lights that "unpacks" from the rocket/ship.

Almost like the solar panels... or the inline clamp-o-tron.

It should look like a panel, but as you hit the switch, a panel slides - or opens up, and the light/spotlight comes out.

If someone could make it with a good animation - and MAYBE also gives it the ability to turn, or aim at something - that would be an awesome addition, both in space when docking - as a spacestation object or a helpful thing to have on my Mün base.

The reason I would like to see this is that I often don't like how my Illuminators breaks my aerodynamic designs.

I would like to see the addition of more lights, not just single direction ones too, maybe ones that just provide ambient light in all directions.

I don't particularly care about lights folding away, but we definitely need some running lights. The ones in the aviation lights mod are quite good.

A more versatile and kerbal way would be a part like the inline clamp-o-tron, but with a platform where things could be attached. In my opinion, the more flexible a part can be used, the better it is.
