Floating Eve Base

Please don't tell me this is bad.......

Ok, the rules are as follows:

A: You may not use mods of any kind, exept for pontoon mods/ boat mods. It has to be done in carreer mode v0.23, no part restrictions.

B: No cheating of any kind.

C: If you don't know how to make a boat, don't do this challenge. Learn to do it and then come back.

The person with the most points wins!

P.S: Bonus 15000 points for building it next to a shore, and having a working return craft to go back to Kerbin, favourably done on the shore.

This has been done before http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/43580-Project-Atlantis-Floating-Eve-Ocean-Base but no, you're not SirJodelstein, are you?

1 point for a part, 150 points for a kerbal, 50000 points for a working SSTO, 1,000,000 points for a city-sized base.

Not to be rude, but having seen your other challenges, could I suggest playing a little further into the game, so you have a better understanding of what is possible, which will reduce the amount of people all saying "OMG NOT PSSIBLE U IZ TROLING !!!!111!!!!!" (although with some reason, occasionally)?

Also, points for high part counts are in favour of Whackjobs people with good computers. Thus the challange could be called "Who has the most powerful computer?". By the way, am I allowed to put like a gazillion gravity sensors on my entry as they are so light?

can't be done without pontoons which are not stock - anything landing on water on Eve without some sort of pontoon will shoot through.

Ref: KSP Wiki.

Last time I accidentally landed my ship on Eve's waters it was floating.

One way or another, OP should try it first and show us his attempt.

You can land good bases on eve, you just need to either touch down really carefully or land on the land and roll into the ocean (The latter is usually the better).

May U suggest changing it to a point based challenge with +1 point for every LFO unit, +250 For every Kerbal and +4000 for a working, reusable SSTO. Some other modules like labs and docks could confer big bonuses too.

E: Might as well go over this...

Neither are you. Have you tried this yourself?

I can make a working SSTO just fine, are you talking about landing and using one on Eve? Also, define "city-sized". Also, why am I getting points for a very large base when I already get points for the number of parts i'm using?

Look, this really isn't a "challenge" per se, it's more of an "I dare ya" kind of thing. A good challenge has a clear, concrete set of rules that everyone can understand on first read and an example of the challenge being done by the OP to show it can be done, and to provide a baseline of points.
