Here's my Tylo landing experience when I did the Jool V challenge.

Here's the revised craft in the VAB:

I didn't document my landing of the newer version but I have an older revision here. Note it's missing ladders up to the science modules, so while I gained the experience necessary for a good landing, I lost the science. It was a trivial exercise to repeat the landing with the above revised model.
