Need more science!

I am very new and just starting the career path. Are there any tips on getting more science out of each mission. I have done the Goo, Space Lab Jr, Data-Comm, Crew report and the other beginning things..I seem to be in a rut now because I seem to not be able to get very much science at all now. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

note that you can do each of those at different biomes.

IE: Launchpad, Runway, KSC, Grasslands, Shores, Ocean, Lower Atmosphere, Upper atmosphere, Low orbit, high orbit.

Minmus is THE best place to get your science with the new biomes and low gravity. You can get a few thousand science points in one quick mission.

If done correctly you can get all the science from minmus in one mission with a science lab in orbit! That will get you very close, if not all the way to the end of the default tech tree

I sent a bunch of missions to the Mun, picked up most of the science there.

Then I sent two ships to Minimus and STAYED there till I cleaned it out, and maxed out the standard tech tree.
