You should do a "badass soldier/merc" set. For the people who do military KSP. Space suits with scratched metal, faded paint that used to signify alliances, etc. Kinda gritty, Starcraft II/Boba Fett theme. Sorry if this has already been suggested, I don't have a spontaneous burst of patience to let me go through 23 pages of text. Sorry.

I will be doing some more worn / battered looking suits at some point. No it hasn't been suggested. All the suggestions are on the front page but that may not have been obvious. It's a good idea I'll think about how to get the best out of it.

If yes, could you make MASA and Medwedian Air Force spacesuits?

MASA suits should be white with the Medwedian Flag and a MASA decal on the arms.

Medwedian Flag:

The MAF suits should be silver; maybe with rank insignia to make them look militaristic (e.g. Jeb is Commander, Bob and Bill are Lieutenants, Kurt is a Sergeant, etc...). You also might include epaulettes. A MAF roundel should be on the arms; consisting of a green circle on the outside, white in the inside, and the Medwedian 4-sided golden Star in the center.

Also, make some people wear moustaches.

Like normal helmet :( But styled in similar colours... I can't use the logo. But I can make a similar one... Can use Bobs head... No sacrifice necessacery just tell me how I can change the model of the EVA Jetpack!

could just remove the EVA pack or you can just style it with colors from the suit like mixtures of brown and orange

Where did you get that crew capsule? I want it!

I re-textured and re-configured Lovad's Apollo CSM from his world space pack. Changed colour and lettering on texture, upgraded configs to reflective shader, fixed parachutes and added real chute compatibility. I'm not sure if I can release the updates as Lovad has no licence anywhere I can see but I can ask.

My request (does this earn me a stealth suit?): Battlestar Galactica Viper Pilot suit, the helmets from the 1970's original series even looked similar to the kerbal helmets (more pyramid shaped though). The suits from the reboot series that happened a few years ago looked more like "space suits", but the helmets didn't have the kerbal look, but both series kept a similar color scheme.

Admittedly this is probably a niche market, but perhaps the spacesuits could be kerbalized somewhat to appeal to a wider audience.

I can do you some of the existing suits I have no problem. I haven't got around to making the ranked suits yet - I'm not sure if I'm going to be working on a project with Nerid and Final Frontier or not so for now that is on the back burner. You can have the choice of white or orange in the next day or two. OR Red, Blue, Yellow, Black, Green, Purple or Pink sometime over the next week when I get time to finish the coloured suits. You are no less of a president if you choose pink... :P

I'm planning a BSG reboot type suit sometime in the near future - I'm currently watching BSG reboot from episode 1 purely as research :D... This was suggested / agreed a few pages back. Sadly I can't change the shape of the helmet currently but there will be similar colours, patches etc.

How high (or low) is a European Space Agency-esque suit, maybe with each suit having a different flag-badge, eg France, Germany, Italy etc. ?

Not that far away. The current plan is to get the colours out then move onto the rest of the world packs. My aim is to make a KSP version of as many real suits as I can, Sokol Mercury etc. I'm currently helping on 2 other projects plus mine :confused: so the work load is high but so is my work rate :D

What's the point of making a mod no one wants or can contribute to? Some people may not be able to make stuff but it doesn't mean they haven't got a great ideas :)

Hadn't thought about Iron Man but I'm sure he'll be in the superhero's pack now. I'm experimenting with normals and texture lighting to try and change the shiny effect on suits. I've never seen Space Above and Beyond but I might think about it.

A Virtual SLAP sir! Space Marines fighting the Chigs! I highly recommend it, though the special effects were dated even for the time (I *think* it was early 90's, if memory serves). Anyway, I got the boxed set on DVD, along with Stargate SG-1, Star Trek's (All), and ... well you get the picture....

Anyway, check them out if you get a chance, I think they would fit in perfectly for EE's "World War K" series (but hey that's just me). And if you don't like those, you could always go with the "DigiCamo" thing ;)

As I sit here pondering my next release (v.038) and it's TextureReplacer upgrade and how best to implement the changes required I'm also thinking towards the future.

I'm going to let the community decide my next project after completing the update and coloured suit variations. This will be the next main project I work on for Custom Spacesuits and my first change of direction in the content I provide. All listed projects will happen but I think it would be nice to see the community decide the order somewhat.

This will not effect my side projects or work on other mods. More the current focus of the suits mod.

Please feel free to ask about the content of the next project as nothing is set in stone and we can all have a say about what's included - Suggestions are more than welcome - if they get built into the project is my decision alone.
