New Robotics & Air-to-Air demo video. Gundam vs mrk V F-22. Sorry there's no sound, I recorded it late last night.

Couldn't be more excited about the combat abilities. Being able to stop and change direction in the air is a huge advantage.

Just the very beginning of whats to come.

Two new builds and a video for each. Two variants on the same craft. First though I moved the engines into the feet. Having the engines down low allows the craft to be more stable in flight. I also put the missiles on a rail that can be lifted up and over the shoulder just like the Gatling gun.

The MRK IVb has engines only in the feet. This video didn't record well, but you get the idea of how it flies. I also take out the f-16 after being blown in half.

The MRK IVc is the air force version. It will be the most capable in the air. In addition to foot engines, it also has mounted shoulder engines.

This video is pretty good recording wise. I can't jump back to the gundam though and the f-16 gets me with it's cannon.

Best video yet. Solid quality, good flying, & entertaining combat. I get my first Raptor kill after sustaining heavy damage.

Cool flying

Receives missile and cannon damage. Both shoulder engines destroyed & severe leg damage.

Heavily damaged, I kill the raptor for the first time.

Sweet targeting systems on the Gundam, what weapon mod are you using on this guy. Id-skillful or something new?

It's called BD armories, and it's seriously the best. It's allowed me to turn all my jets into drones that are super good at dogfighting. Here's the link.

Also, does anyone have any idea how a single .craft file could become corrupted? I don't know what happened. Now whenever I launch my Gundam craft it looks fine until the launch fully loads then I jump to space. And when I jump to the space center it too is just space. I've tried a fresh KSP game and the problem seems to be just with the .craft file itself.

This only happens for one Gundam .craft file. Has anyone encountered this?

Nevermind. I accidently deleted the internal view of the cockpit, which was causing the craft to crash the game.

Nevermind. The page wouldn't load in chrome, but internet explore worked just fine.

First time that's ever been said.

I ate some CO pot gummie bears. Gonna get some real work done on this thing. Alpha tomorrow hopefully. At least a new video

MRK IVc Alpha

This is the Alpha release for my MRK IVc Gundam. The c variant is intended for use by the Air Force, and is built to be formidable in Air-to-Air Combat.

This version is an Alpha release, but as you can see from the videos, works just fine. It is far from completed however. It relies almost completely on SAS to manuver in the Air. This works just fine when piloted by a human, but the BDArmory Autopilot cannot control it. I belive it is because BD doesn't use torque wheels when in control. It is a goal for the Beta release to have a Gundam that can be controlled by the AI.

For the Beta version I have removed the SAS, and stripped the Gundam down to the bare assentails. Right now the AI can fly it, and I am working on reattaching the missing componets, piece by piece. Tweaking after each addition.

Since this may take a while, I'm releasing this alpha version. Please remember it is far from finished.

I suggest a fresh KSP game for Gundam play/development

-Ir and IR Rework (Only requires one rework part, you can delete everything else)

-Tweakscale

-Included cb_co folder (11 fixed b9 parts. All credit to the OG developer. I just fixed the nodes for 1.0.x)

-BDArmories (optional)

Flying Tips

- Select "control from here" on part behind head.

Action Keys

1) Toggle all engines

2) Unlock shoulders for engine vectoring (Experimental, allows shoulders to rotate with w and s)

3) Move shoulders center

4) Move engines to flying position

5) Move engines to storage position (Can be used in flight as well to pitch down)

6) Fire

7) Transform weapons to standing position

8) Transform weapons to flying position

9) Left leg flairs

O) Right leg flairs

RCS) Toggle beam saber

Abort) Parachutes

o and p) Control ankes for vectoring

: and ;) Move weapons manually

Holey crop it's back!

Yeah, still lots of work to be done though. But I get project ADD. I've been working on this too much so it's time for a different project. Stealth Raptor needs final touches then I'll finally upgrade that pain in the ass F35.

I did make this though, a preview of 1v2 combat. Two mods of note in this video. Vertical velocity control, which allows the Gundam to hover at a set altitude. It's seriously the greatest.

Also you'll notice the camera mode text is gone when switching between craft. It makes my videos soo much prettier. I work hard to make the videos without using the UI, and that text always ruined them.Thanks to this mod.

Yeah for sure. The ones in these videos are a couple generations back however, and unfortunately i no longer have the ones with weapon bays available

that's ok. I found it awesome how the weapon bays work, I could redo the weapon bays, and post the .craft file here.
