The Spacewalker's rescue

After a discussion with Mission control, Kirrim "Spacewalker" Kerman said that he could land on Minmus and get back to orbit without using a lander. Instead, he was going to park his ship in orbit and do all the maneuvering with the EVA pack.

The next day, Kirrim took a ship to Minmus, parked it in a 10km orbit and started to go down:

The descent was flawless, and after a few minutes he was able to reach the surface and plant a flag:

After planting a flag and taking a picture, it was time to get back to the ship, and that's when Kirrim realized he had made a fatal mistake: his ship was not parked in an equatorial orbit, so the rendez-vous was going to be nearly impossible. He did his best, but ran out of fuel and ended up stranded in a 17km orbit:

A rescue ship was launched immediately. Commander Chad Kerman and his favourite pilot Pauix Kerman took a 3-seat capsule and went to Minmus as fast as they could. They managed to get near the stranded kerbonaut and, after some very delicate maneuvers, they managed to get close enough so that Kirrim could grab a ladder and board the ship:

Once he entered the capsule, Kirrim apologized for all the mess he caused. "Totally worth it", said Chad, while Pauix, with a huge smile on his face, said that "next time, you let me park the ship". He then and set course for Kerbin, where Kirrim wanted to brag to Mission Control about his feat.

You should go back and get Kirrim's lander. It has science!

I'm playing in Sandbox mode (I'll start a career in 0.32.10, until then I'm just goofing around), but I will go get the lander for sure (it makes for a good training exercise :D).
