Upon hearing of the proposed Red Dragon plan by SpaceX, I decided to do something similar to that in KSP. I built and launched a pseudo-Falcon Heavy, sending a capsule to Duna. Since we don't actually have sample gathering and return parts, I had to use my imagination for that part. :P

Unlike the actual mission, I utilized SSTO craft to retrieve the 'samples' upon return to Kerbin. All in all, it was quite the fun mission! I wonder if it will be accomplished in real life eventually?
