Here's my attempt to recreate the video:

The video overestimates the size of the rockets and tanks needed for interplanetary burns, and underestimates the size of the Mars Lander when compared to their Kerbal equivalents. I think that my recreation is good for the rocket, okay for the lander, and breaks down when I forgot parachutes to land back on Kerbin in the end ;)
