The only difference between this and the real orion, is the larger second stage and the real Orion has one SRB at the bottom, mine has five.

This vehicle can reach LKO and MKO and is designed to be a less complex replacement for my shuttle, it can carry a crew of three.

The vehicle if modified with a compact push or tugboat can be sent on minmus/mun flyby missions, it can also be used as a low profile escape pod on any space station.

Mods used: FASA, Realchute, KW Rocketry, Mechjeb, and the ever so lovely service module system.

It took me about seven tries of test flying to perfect the design.

Oooh, shiny! It's looking good, but to improve:

The solar panels shouldn't be 90deg separated.

The capsule is like round at the bottom, try clipping a pancake tank or something even flatter there. (EDIT: I just took another look at it, turn on clipping and put the command pod slightly lower, inside that ring)

Just my 2 nitpicky cents!
