I have mixed feelings about the changes to ion engines.

Part of me is glad that I did many things with them while they were still challenging. Though I did use modded ion engines for my probe Jool tour, despite my usual policy of stock engines only... so I'm going to count that as policy compliant now.

I did more cfg. editing, and dunno why the E/c changed, but as you can see, 2100 Isp, and 2 kn of thrust equals garbage dv.

My idea, and would much rather prefer; I doubled the thrust and fuel consumption, essentially the same dv but in half the time.

In the interview with Scott Manley, HarvesteR explicitly said that the Isp would not be changed.

So no ÃŽâ€v nerf.

The power requirements were cut so that it doesn't require 4 Gigantor panels to run 1 ion engine.
