Are there any mods that let you switch vessels in atmosphere? [ and ] aren't working!

I want to fly a few planes in formation without needing to do any tricky stuff like attaching a bunch of planes to one ship and detaching them in the air. Is there a mod that gets rid of the stupid "You cannot switch vessels in atmosphere" message and just lets me switch them? I've already posted this to reddit as well:
