What do cockpit lights A/D, TWR, Stage etc mean?

Recommended Posts

I'm using rasterpropmonitor for my IVA flying but there are some lights I know are also in the vanilla cockpit and I'd like to know what they mean and the different colors. I know what RCS, SAS, Gear and Light mean ... but what about the others?

CONT is the contact light, it lights up whenever you touch down on the surface of a body. MECO is Main Engine Cut Off, it lights when your main engine is no longer active (Usually when you are throttle down) Fuel means you are running out of fuel. Heat means you are starting to overheat. HighG means that you are undergoing excessive G-forces. A/D is the Ascent/Descent alarm. It goes off when you are on a suborbital trajectory. TWR is the Thrust to Weight Ratio alarm. It is orange if you have a slightly low TWR, and red if your TWR is really low.

Great thank you!
