Cool boat-planes everyone.

Does anyone want to start a battle? I made some more ships that have much better armor, I have a 45 ton destroyer and a 20 ton corvette. Any suggestions on what size ship I should build next?

I see... so should I fit my prowler cruiser with my odst drop pods? They are quite old.

ODST pods. From a few months ago.

The front of the destroyer will also get a very slight modification. It will help with the weapons.

Hey Guys, I have been watching this thread for quite a while and I am very impressed with your work and how you were able to cope with so many high-part count warships.

I thought you guys might like to see what I came up with when I decided kerbin needed some defending.

I based it off of the Daedalus from Stargate. It is a monstrosity of over 600 parts and 200 tons. It utilizes basic SRB missiles and has double and tripple layerd armor in some areas. It also has limited amenities for very small fighters in it's two hangar bays. It may look cool but I don't really think it would have much combat effectiveness.

AAAAAAH!

*see part count*

*calms down*

Decent part management for a ship of that mass. Impressive part management for a ship of that size. Bring those nacelles in closer and add a warhead of some kind and that ship could be a daunting prospect.

Impressive looking ship, Jon144. Whenever I build something functional it comes out looking like a brick. Also, I'm curious how you all design warheads. Are they powerful enough that a direct hit with an SRB missile is usually a kill?

Here is my new very brick-like battleship, it's around 100 tons.

Again, if anyone wants to battle, I would love to try my ships out against a real opponent. In addition to my new battleship I have a 40 ton destroyer, a 20 ton corvette, and a carrier that is about 80 tons.

I would battle but I'm still waiting for a move back from scriptkitt3h and my plate is kinda full IRL right now...maybe towards the end of the week we can start one up? I'm also kinda new here so it would be some good learning for us both :)

FKIN SPEEDBOAT

You can actually get higher speeds out of it.

At this point it begins to fall apart.

EDIT: Actually this is my only ship I've bothered to make. A friendly subscriber on my youtube channel helped me fix its flotation ability.
