What is KSP fuel made out of?

On the jet-fuel tanks, there's a warning label that says, "Danger: Kerosene Fuel."

...so I'm guessing liquid-fueled rockets use a mixture of kerosene "LiquidFuel" and liquid oxygen "Oxidizer," just like the first stage of the Saturn V.

As for the solid-fuel rocket engines, their black smoke and sparks reminds me of amateur rocket motors, made out of AP (Ammonium Perchlorate) which is the same stuff used in the old Space Shuttle boosters. Special chemicals can be added for black smoke, and titanium sponge produces sparks.

Here's a reference video (note: not mine) showing a "Skidmark" amateur rocket motor in action.
