They called Jeb "mad" for wanting to capture a D-class asteroid. They called him "insane" for wanting to put it into a stable, mostly-circular orbit. They called him "deranged" for wanting it to go retrograde. Jeb called them "those whiners Bill and Bob", and did it anyway.

The Sub-Dipper asteroid would become his own personal base. And nobody, especially not Bill or Bob, was going to stop him.

With all of the fuel allocated to it, the craft managed to circularize the asteroid exactly as Jeb had planned. He renamed it Minmun, in honor of its status as Kerbin's newest, tiniest, and closest moon.

And then, despite their endless protestations, Jeb dragged Bill and Bob along to his new playground to set up his base.

He managed to strong-arm Bill into staying, as well. Apparently something about misappropriated snacks was involved.

Bob, on the other hand, wanted no part of Jeb's new base.

He took off for home immediately.

Upon arrival, he planted what he was sure was going to be Jeb and Bill's memorial flag. Not that Jeb cared. He had what he'd always wanted: his own moon.
