Asteroid Patched Conic From Space Center?

OK, I've watched all of the gameplay previews for ARM but I cannot figure out how people are zooming in to view the patched conic around Kerbin when the asteroid is really far away. HELP!

for that you have to select the asteroid (And track it) and then hit TAB to switch your focus to Kerbin (I believe it's 5 times)

From the tracking station, Backspace will focus you back to Kerbin also, as that's the camera 'home' target in that scene (as opposed to the active ship while in flight)
