Career Mode - Grapper (Klaw) Tech Tree Location

I'm struggling to find the Klaw anywhere in my tech tree. I started a new Career mode today to experience some roids whizzing at me (only to find impact does nothing .

However when I spent saving and reloading spending 1000 science down each tree I found nothing (or missed it repeatedly perhaps). When looking at the part file it says this:

TechRequired = actuators

Actuators?

Can somebody familiar with career mode please tell me specifically what tree/node it is in. I was told "The claw is tier 5 tech and requires advanced construction." but found nothing under Specialized Construction which is the tier after Advanced Construction.

Actuators are unlocked after advanced construction. They are located below Specialized Construction in the tree. The node unlocks the claw.

Thanks for your reply Othuyeg...however I don't have anything under the Specialized Construction node. I'm thinking one of my mods is messing with it.

You have to research (what is that with the wing? basic aerodynamics?) That'll lead to it methinks.

You must have something wrong. Propably a mod.

You said you could see the asteroids whizzing about so you must have installed ARM itself correctly.

Also, you said it is a new save so it can't be that either...

I didn't think I did, but when I looked, I had something called "Treeloader". It's for editing the Tech Tree but I'm sure I didn't download it...it had to come with another mod.
