increase navball size?

Is it possible to make the navball larger, an option hidden somewhere..? Trying to maneuver precisely I find myself squinting and leaning to see the markers better and it's just not comfortable.

As far as I know, there's an option to tune the sie of the UI. Try and see if it means the navball, too.

Doesn't work for me, during flight I hit esc -> settings, there's a slider titled 'GUI', which has no effect whatsoever that I could see. Exactly what setting did you change and how?

I'm pretty sure its the GUI size setting in the Main Menu settings.

If you have a command pod with IVA view, you can zoom in on the navball there.

I couldn't tell you. I never use the in game settings because I can never actually change the settings I want to from within it

Yes, you have to exit out of your flight and your save and go to the Settings on the main menu for this, and most settings tbh.

It changes the size of most of the flight UI elements. IIRC the navball, the staging icons, the altimeter, the control indicators in the bottom right, and the clock are all covered. I don't think the Resources indicator or the right-click dialogues are affected. If you only change it by one notch you might not notice, but whack it up to the top and you'll definitely see the difference

The GUI slider when you are in-game (not from the main start menu -> settings) is for GUI audio. It controls things like staging sounds and when you click on parts in the editor. (You have to exit out of flight mode, then go back to notice the change.)

The only place to change the GUI size is in the main start menu under settings. (Flight GUI slider)

Oddly enough, I've reported a bug where changing the GUI audio setting messes up graphics when the Flight GUI size is set to Huge.

Step 1: Switch to IVA mode with the "C" key

Step 2: Use your mouse wheel and right mouse button to zoom your view into the Navball

Step 3: profit.

I know about the IVA zooming but that's not always a good way to do it, at least as long as we don't have any orbital information in IVA.
