What would be most easy to colonize?

I'm going to colonize a planet, And i'm having a hard time choosing.

What would be the most easiest planet to colonize?

Duna?

Minmus?

Or the Mun?

Well only one of those is a planet, so to Duna I guess.

All silliness aside though, I'd go for Laythe as it has liquid water and an atmosphere friendly to aircraft.

Laythe is the most Kerbin-like, so the colonists would probably be happiest there.

Minmus and the Mun are easiest to reach, so therefore easiest to build a big colony station quickly and cheaply.

Eve has the most difficult return, motivating the colonists to make the colony succeed.

Out of the listed ones, Minimus. It's close, and the extremely low gravity makes basemaking easy. I wouldn't use rovers though, those things slide like butter on ice.

Duna and Laythe are both easy to land on, both have atmosphere for parachutes, although laythe is better for this. Duna on the other hand is closer and has less gravity, so it's a 50/50. I'm building bases on both myself so I'll also recommend these.

In-game, Minmus. You don't have to worry about launch windows, and it's easier to land on than the Mun. The only minus is having to be aware of inclinations when approaching, but that's easily mastered.

From an "in-Universe" perspective, Laythe by a country mile.
