Docking bug trick

What do you guys do to dock to ports together when they are exactly touching each other?

well, if they are exactly touching then you should be docked. If you are not that's the bug and you should back off (About 10m) quicksave and pop open the quicksave in your favorite text editor (Notepad will do)

Then you want to find your craft (A search for the name will work) then find the docking port (Again use a searh for the term "dockingport") and you want to make sure State = Ready and both things below it are zero for both your ship and your station.
