Xenon Scout Probe Ship

I needed some asteroid-checking done, so I designed this ship to carry many mini-probes out to around 500-700 kilometers:

The probes run on xenon and are about the size of 1 Kerbal when solar panels are folded up. They hold 700 xenon gas each, and the solar panels are enough to keep them running non-stop.

(It can hold many more than 2 probes, this was just a first flight)

I am using KW Rocketry fairings (which didn't open, they just went nocollide in this image)

I got one probe to an orbit of around 1200 kilometers and not even 1/3 of the xenon was used up. They're easy to maneuver, too.

The only mod parts were a couple of engines on previous stages and the fairings, which I'm sure it would have been fine without.

I already have managed to launch 4 of them in one launch to make an exploration armada!
