So, i am trying to build the station on the asteroid, everything seems fine except that my rockets have too much delta v for that small payload. My second stage still had plenty of fuel when i attached the habitat to the asteroid, so i tried to deorbit it and this happened.

Its on the escape trajectory now. This is not on vanilla ksp, i have rockets parts mods, visual enchantments and kethane mods, but still, looks promising.

But you cant steer it. Kraken, welcome back!

I encountered exactly the same apoapsis increasing problem, but there were no parts missing on my craft. I had this issue twice but with the same craft. The vehicle used some clipping parts though and i pushed it on that. I remember that it happened, when i came out of time acceleration (the game of course, not me) and i wasnt able to turn the acceleration back on, because the vehicle was considered throttled up, which it wasnt. I will launch that vehicle again this evening, maybe it is reproducable. Then i will file a bug report.

That sounds very much like an accidental kraken drive, care to share the .craft?
