Science Points in Duna

I send 4-wheeled rover to duna, which have thermometer and barometer.

It landed at highland?(5km above sea level) and transmitted data.

If my rover goes to Pole or lowland, will I be able to earn science points again?

No. Duna only has the one surface biome for now.

I had to find that out the hard way. I landed in several obviously different places, and didn't get any more Science!, even at the poles. Duna should have more Biomes than Mun!

It is my understanding that they are going to add biomes to every planet and moon eventually, but this is still 0.23.5 so we're not there yet.

So far they've added biomes to a body every update (except now, because this is not a full update), seemingly in the order most players visit them. First Mun, then Minmus. If they keep with the "what body would you go to next" logic my guess is Duna is next.
